In my current position as the Grants & Marketing Manager, I am primarily responsible for grant management. However, my role also involves the project management of two major initiatives. Below are key details of my managing experience. 

Grant Management

  • I oversee the grant management for seven long-term grant initiatives for my organization that have successfully met outcomes, utilized funding, and remained on track resulting in continued funding for my organization and improved success metrics. â€‹â€‹

  • My standard responsibilities in this role include: 

    • Developing and submitting reports. 100% of grants reports under my management have been submitted on time. 

    • Tracking grant progress, milestones, outputs, and outcomes. 100% of grant outputs and outcomes under my management have been achieved.

    • Ensuring grant activities align with project timeline.

    • Creating grant evaluation and tracking tools that support coordination among different staff. 

Project Management

  • I oversee the project management for two grant initiatives for my organization that are currently ongoing. The grant initiatives include:

    • Workforce Opportunities for Rural Communities (federal grant)

    • Near Completer Project (state grant)​​​

  • My standard responsibilities in this role include: 

    • Facilitating project partners and providers to align project activities with goals and timeline.

    • Identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.

    • Tracking project progress, reporting, and deliverables.

    • Calling status meetings and sharing essential updates.
